We were not taught to respect ourselves, nor to Love ourselves. We have to come to that on our own. We were taught how “selflessness” is so awesome & to be desired. Yes & no. They don’t get it, those teachers. You can’t give what you don’t have, & unless you love yourself, you have no love to give.

Anyway, you get this stuff. I just enjoy writing, communing with you, I guess. We’re all teachers, we’re all students, & when we know that, life is ever so much better & easier to take.
