Wow! So much food for pondering it’s tough to know where to begin. I love how well-read you are, how you bring that into your pondering & your writing. It’s helpful.
When we get down to basics, we (eventually) realize we are not the body or the mind, but the awareness that inhabits it. If we keep going, we come to realize that we actually contain the body. Taken further, we contain All That Is, as Source-in-form, our core Reality.
All that presents in the material world is our creation. All is alive, is conscious, albeit in its own way. Just as we, as Spirit/Soul/Consciousness bring life to the body-mind, why would this not also operate on the larger scale of the planet? Who is to say she is not conscious, lol? Perhaps they just haven’t expanded sufficiently to encounter that along their trek.
As above, so below; as within, so without. Our body comprises the organs, the many cells, yes? Why should the universe not be but a larger body, considering the planets, moons, stars & such of which its organs & cells are composed?
All of life is sentient, as the manifestation of creative consciousness. The forms are not who we are, but rather vehicles we use to enjoy our experience of the possible. Until we personally discover Who we really are, as Source-in-form, we’ll arrive at various, often conflicting views about what anything is, what it means & its usefulness to us.
We must begin by defining the “us,” there, lest we take off in various, divergent directions.
The mechanistic view of Cosmos is on its way out, inevitably. Over time only real Truth survives. What we’ve got, meanwhile, is relative truth, which only takes us so far. Thus, current science is hobbled & restrained in its mechanistic, dead perspective on the whole.
