What life story are you telling? Are your thoughts & your words mostly focused on how things are not right, on problems & uncomfortable issues? That’s the case for most of us, so you’re not alone. What aspects of you are telling such tales?
What aspect of you do they satisfy?
What we don’t take into account, here, is the massive power, the creative power of consciousness. The tale we tell is the tale we will continue to live — as Source-in-form. We’re not just “telling it like it is,” we’re telling it like it’s going to be. We’re creating that, hugely unaware, until we begin to wake-up, to Who we really are.
We’re all a bit schizophrenic that way — unaware of our split identity. When we first hear that we’re these creators, these co-creators of life who wield such powers, it sounds ridiculous. We think we know so much, & one thing we all know is our powerlessness when it comes to creating real change. Until we’re willing to step back & shift that perspective, we misuse our power, making life harder than it needs to be.

There’s no time like the present to test this, to shift the whole tone of our storytelling. It doesn’t cost a dime, but has the potential to shift our whole life experience. Even if we’re unsure of this Source-in-form stuff, it’s worth taking a chance. We can begin by holding our tongue on the negative stuff. It will remain in our thoughts, but we choose not to voice any of it, just to check this idea out.
As we get stubborn about placing our attention on what pleases us, on what feels good for a change, we start to shift. Our creative power works, whether we’re aware of it or not. Now, we’re choosing to be more aware, to self-observe.
Next, we seek another perspective on those “negative” things.
Every coin has two sides, every situation brings gifts, so it’s a matter of choice. Which side of the coin will we choose to view? We all have enough life experience to look back on difficult times & see the benefits we reaped, the gains we made. It’s a start toward our new perspective.
This amounts to an attitude shift, something free will empowers us all to make. Nor is this a choice between being positive & being negative. That’s how it starts, but it goes far deeper, for that smacks of duality. Mind can’t help but live in a realm of relativity, of duality, but that’s superficial to Who we actually are.
Most of us have also spent some moments, somewhere along the way, in the Oneness, the uplift of that. On deeper levels of our being we know this stuff. It’s not new to us. The duality abides in the game we’re playing, the human game, taking that for our identity. As long as we choose that, there we’ll remain, even though we have the power to go free, to more deeply explore our depths.
MANIFESTATIONS
We now choose to appreciate life, which brings on serious change, first in our attitude, but then in our experiences. You’ll know this is happening as you watch your circle of friends morph. Who you hang-out with, who you text & call undergoes a shift, next.
“Show me your friends & I’ll show you your future.” We don’t create our life story in a vacuum, we also co-create, merging our energies with those of our compadres. We hang around less with the overall negative ones. It’s an ongoing choice.
Aside from making the initial choice to tell a better story, the rest of this will follow naturally. Our persona is not the one doing this. When we realign, internally, we see the results in our external world. Consciousness creates, just not in ways the mind can access or understand.
We don’t need to understand, either, to make this happen.
Who wouldn’t like to tell another life story, a more fulfilling one? Let’s recognize our power to bring it about — the power of choice in the “hands” of Source-in-form. Let’s take responsibility for that, or at least check it out. 😉
