Thanks so much for sharing this. Here’s what I’m wondering — how does Medium, being free, pay for itself, for it’s staff, overhead, etc.? Shouldn’t some (or most?) of its membership money be for that? How are they going to be sustainable if they give all of the membership funds to authors? Feels like I’m missing something, somewhere :-/
