Taking Our Power Back — NowHere, pt. 1 of 2
Creation & Figure-8 Flow of Time/Space
Let’s begin with a bit of Abraham:

That’s huge.
To take our native, inherent Power back, we must realize that consciousness creates, that we’re creating 24/7. While we’ve been cleverly taught to create both for & against ourselves, we can break out of that. We can step back & see what we’re doing, how we’re trapping & defeating ourselves to wake up from that whole scene. It’s not really that hard, either, which is nice.
The ubiquitous figure 8 is useful to represent both time & space, the NowHere of that. We see it on its side representing time as eternity, neverending. Upright, it can represent the infinity of space, also neverending from any perspective within it (though contained within Source).
One of my favorite writers on Medium is White Feather. His use of the figure 8 to illustrate our presence both in the higher, non-physical dimensions & on earth in his recent story, Remembering Alimaka, inspired this journal. He used the upper part of the 8 to represent our presence on the other side, while the lower part was the 3D incarnation. [1]
This journal is different. Most of them flow through, so I find myself more the scribe than the writer, just letting the words arise; in this analogy arising from the upper part of the 8. This journal is more from the perspective of the Observer, the one watching that, i.e., at the juncture of the 8. The Observer has been noting the long dry spells between recent journals, wondering about that.
Heaven forbid that the lower figure, the 3D character, should take up pen & write. 😶 I’m not interested in the limited mental view of things except as an adjunct to what else arises.
Back to the fact that consciousness creates with another Abraham perspective:

If we were standing in your physical shoes we would not merely observe what others are doing and use that as a basis for our own attraction. We would focus deliberately on things that we want to attract into our experience. And then, we would sit on the front row of our own creation, witnessing the results of the climate that we have deliberately prepared. [Emphasis added]

So, if we have, metaphorically, these 3 aspects of the figure-8 — the upper loop, the lower loop, & their connection — 3 aspects of our own Being, which aspect is in charge? How are they interacting? We’d all like the higher-dimensional aspect, the one that’s more fully aware, to be creating our reality, but that’s where Free Will enters the picture. How?
It must be invited. Source forces ItSelf on no one.
And, if we don’t know that even exists, how the heck do we know to call on it?!
Its native realm is the All In All, the expansive vastness, but we’re here in 3D to create a 3D experience. That puts the lower loop, the 3D persona in charge. The Observer just watches, but with a twist: we know what we want (& what we don’t want) when we see it. And seeing is freeing.
Our focus on what we don’t want makes a mess of things, attracting more of that. We’re amazingly powerful Beings, whether we realize it or not. We are free to create what we will. No one is forcing us into anything. We may be in jail or in chains, but we are always in charge of what we’re creating.
Most have not yet stepped back enough from their character-in-the-play, their body-mind persona, to become fully aware of themselves as the Observer. Once we do, that really helps. It’s a much calmer state, one where we just view but don’t judge — ever — as in never. It’s not a mental thing, it’s of Heart.
Our awareness as Observer is key.
Why do we have the experiences that come our way? We’re bringing them to ourselves to show ourselves something. Sometimes it’s as simple as clarifying what we want vs what we don’t want. Any intense experience delivers that.
Our dropped stitch is to take our focus away from what we want, to let it linger & stew in what we do not want, not realizing that we’re thus creating more of the same. The Observer realizes — as we do when we connect up with That.
Back to Abraham, who seems to say it so well:

As you look for a better-feeling way to approach whatever you are giving your attention to; as you continue to ask yourself from your ever-changing vantage point, “What is it that I do want?”… Eventually you will be standing in a very pleasing place — for you cannot continually ask yourself what it is that you do want without your point of attraction beginning to pivot in that direction. The process will be gradual, but your continued application of the process will yield wonderful results in only a few days.

Our focus is creative, no matter what we focus upon — but we didn’t know that. It was somehow left out of our “education” (programming). Once we know, we’re completely empowered to free ourselves & to realize that we were the only one ever holding us back.

[1] I almost left my ‘typo’ — which is never a typo, since there is no coincidence — in that last line. I wrote, “… while the loser part was his 3D incarnation.” We do, indeed, lose awareness of the greater part of our Self while in 3D.
