Strange piece. That vid is surely startling — startlingly realistic analogy of many people’s current “reality.” Deep stuff.

Yet this is also the mind trek, fraught with such dangers. Sanity ever abides deep within — having precious little to do with mind, IMO. Heart & gut also produce neurotransmitters, those little so-called brain chemicals.

Recently read an article demonstrating that the placebo effect was based on a serious warping of science — misrepresenting the research, the facts — done with the intent to justify human experimentation. There are many such cases, demonstrating the non-reliability of science, which after all, is just today’s latest theories, guaranteed to be replaced by tomorrows newer facts/theories.

In effect, we’ve created a false god & called it science. The white-robed technicians, doctors, & scientists are the priests, the lab the church, & the scientific journals the scripture. It’s strictly hierarchical, to boot. Just another perspective, of course, but still…

You’ll likely find parts of it strange, but you may enjoy this take on current “sanity” — it does have some redeeming features ;)
