Sandy — I like the direction you’re going with this — & the vulnerability you’re willing to share, here. Clearly, you’ve come a long way. Even makes me wonder if part of your child’s mission on coming in to a rather short life — from our perspective — wasn’t to lend a hand, here. Perhaps something you both agreed upon before coming in.

FWIW, the biggest help I’ve found on the white-lie thing has come from my trek out of head, down into Heart — where the white lie is no longer in existence — isn’t tolerable. It just doesn’t feel natural, from there. I suspect this may be what you’re sensing — that uncomfortable feeling, even when the mind is saying it’s okay, you’re just being kind.

One other aspect around this is that others are also sensitive, able to feel when they’re getting mixed messages — hearing the words, yet sensing the deeper truth.

We’re all on this grand journey of life, here on earth. Nor is there one of us who has not uttered the white lie — so we’re all in this, together. Each one’s journey impacts us all — though the conscious mind has no access to that, of course — yet Heart does. We could call it quantum entanglement, if you like, but there’s a oneness here, beyond any mind’s ability to ken.
