Life Does Us

Readiness Awaiting Us — Observing

Shifting into Heart

We’re not the doer, we just think we are.

I’ve been at a loss, of late, feeling so far from all I’m seeing, from how people are reacting to what they’re witnessing, everywhere. When we realize that people cannot see the truth until they’re ready — & we know neither what that readiness is nor how to bring it about — we’re at a loss, at least temporarily.

What to do when there’s literally nothing one can “do?” Truth does us, we don’t do it, just as the readiness does us when it’s time. It’s all a great big mind-pretzel. What to do, indeed!

So we watch.

We wait as we observe ourselves slowly moving from head-centric into Heart. That “does” us, too. This us, this self we believe in is turning out to be a bit of a joke. It’s not what we thought it was, not at all.

The mind is behind all “doing” in us. It works through the body which is seen as the doer. That turns out to be a sheer illusion, but absent our readiness, we don’t see that. We just can’t, & nobody can deliver that seeing to us nor that readiness. It’s a mystery.

Many, especially those in science, totally rebel against what’s being shared, here. They’re so locked into their belief systems (BS) that those are in control of all they experience. Sophocles said it well, so long ago:

“What people believe prevails over the truth.”

— Sophocles, fragment, The Sons of Aleus

Who can let that sink in? Only those in readiness, no one else. For the rest, it’s like Churchill described:

“Men occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing ever happened.”
― Winston S. Churchill

People do not do this intentionally. They’re like a ball, bouncing off of a hard surface — unreceptive — not due to any plan on their part. The readiness must be present, period.

When It Hurts, Observe — Cache.Lovethispic.com

What we can do is begin to watch ourselves, to observe what we’re doing.

It’s vital to do this without judgment of any kind. A certain emptiness is required. Over time, what we’ll notice is how nothing is coincidental.

Everything fits together perfectly. All that is said or done to or around us is for us, holding a blessing of some sort which, in the presence of our readiness, is delivered.

Otherwise, the ball just bounces away.

We find ourselves no longer reaching out to convince anyone of anything, to change anyone’s mind. Be in Heart to hear(t) this. We find ourselves sharing, sometimes even intensely, yet it’s for the pure joy of the sharing, of the experience flowing through us. We are shifting…

We’re more respectful, then, knowing that each one is & deserves to be master of their own destiny, their own ship. Guiding their ship is not our business, nor do we want to do it, even though we might have rolled like that for most of our lives, working to convince others of the rightness, the wisdom of our perspectives.

We watch ourselves with a big hmmm.

We lighten up a great deal. We may actually get more intense, but we’re much more upbeat, more positive about it. It’s no longer a mental intensity, but an intensity of soul, of Heart; quite different. It’s a far better experience, although the mind would not agree with that.

The mind isn’t taking this trek.

We may be a genius with many degrees on the wall, but the mind fades into the background somewhere along the way. It’s wonderful, it’s vital, but only as a sort of calculator, a useful tool to help us work out certain things — but nothing truly important.

The mind doesn’t like its new position, not one little bit! It fights every step of the way, early on, which is why some never get past it. That’s fine. We’re not all the same & there is no one perfect path, no one perfect text, no one perfect understanding for all minds. That’s not how it’s all designed.

We’re all unique, on the one hand, yet on the other, we’re all one; we are the One, different cells in the same body, the body of Source. We are the adventure Source takes, well able to handle the vastly differing views & perspectives in the infinite, eternal NowHere.

The cells in our 3D bodies have learned to cooperate, to work harmoniously together. They were born to that, & so were we, as cells in the body of Source. It’s funny, hilarious, really, but somewhere along the way, we forgot! 😲

When we look around at all the rude, nasty chaos, it makes us wonder, deep within: what’s it all about? What’s the purpose, what’s the point of it all?

Source knows & that’s our out, that’s our answer. As we await the readiness to finally receive it, to continually go along with the flow, we observe. We find we’re being taught, tutored in “other” things, other ways of seeing, of knowing, things we’d never think of on our own.

It’s all good, friends. It’s quite a ride, actually, one we’re well equipped to enjoy, & perhaps that’s the point of it all, who can say?

Just when it thought the world was over, the caterpillar became a butterfly, a flutterby.

Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth.”
― Marcus Aurelius, Meditations

It turns out that allowing is what’s called for, is what’s most advantageous. The “I” we take ourselves to be is more the “eye,” the eye of Source than anything else.

Disconcerting, yes, but to what part of us? To the mind, yes? The NowHere is forever nowhere to the mind. We can celebrate that by allowing What Is to just Be. Oh, & don’t forget to enjoy.
