Randy — I hear ya. If we’re trying to take our external life & only work with that, not bothering to find our way deeper into our being than mind, we’re not likely to succeed. It’s not that we have to go the mind route of making all of the changes it suggests, but rather a different route, entirely — one not so darned hard.

Those who find their way deeper within — I call that Heart, just to have a useful word — find that the perfection they seek is already there, fully present. No doing required. The challenge may be that this “perfection” is nothing like mind thought it would be. Mind isn’t in charge, here, & we learn to ignore it, for the most part. This has its own Intelligence of another sort.

Anyway, just another perspective. 😉
