Perspective Controls Perception

Belief Systems Manipulate our Perceptions

We are shockingly powerful — each one of us — but the joke is on us via our current set of beliefs that were carefully designed to hold us down, to keep us apart & ignorant. In our current state, burdened by these Belief Systems (BS ;-), we can’t see truth when it’s right in front of our faces.

”What people believe prevails over the truth.”

SOPHOCLES, The Sons of Aleus

Thus, we begin every journey from our programmed perspective — which effectively blocks & distorts our perceptions. This is where the emptiness, called for & honored in the East, comes in handy. That can save the day, but only when we allow it, when we get out of the way.

We in the West are too arrogant, by far. We’re so convinced that we know so much, while not realizing that this, too, is a result of the programming (often incorrectly called “education”). I have 4 degrees. So what?

We don’t yet recognize the distinction between knowing — a function of the 3D mind — and Knowing — the way of the Inner Being. Let’s start there.

knowing vs Knowing

Many of those now awakening realize that the mind, the brain, can only know about something. It cannot actually know the thing in itself, as itself — but Heart, our Inner Being, can. When perceived via Heart, one is actually one with what is being perceived, seeing from that perspective. This is Knowing.

It’s as if we are that because we ARE that — All That Is — via Heart.

Thus, it makes a massive difference whether we begin our inquiry, our exploratory journey into whatever, from the perspective of the head or the Heart. It’s good to realize that to take the head route into topics that go beyond 3D — such as the spiritual or the higher dimensional — is to be as the dog just chasing its tail.

Our mind can only know ABOUT things, never the things in themselves, try as we might.

We misidentify the I. When we choose to identify with & as the 3D body-mind, we choose to accept its limitations. They are many. We are so much more, but that choice blocks us from those inner discoveries that release us into our wholeness, the overall oneness.

Escaping infiltration via emptiness

Friends, we’ve long been infiltrated, here on planet earth, by dark ones with a vital interest in keeping us bound & limited, unaware of our actual greatness, our innate power & abilities. We’re viewed as livestock by certain dark groups. Escaping those bonds begins as we pass through the door into emptiness.

We become the observer of it all.

Yes, the mind will still chatter. There’s no need to find total silence. Just watch the mind for a time — then begin to ignore it, centering deeper within the central chest where the (higher dimensional) Heart connection abides. We feel an expansion out into we know not what, but we sense it going beyond our body, beyond 3D.

WE ARE NOT SEEKING ANYTHING.

Just Be

That’s important, for most begin their journey in seeking mode. Why seek what we already contain? Let this kick the mind in the butt; let it be a mind-f***. Just observe the mind without dropping down into it. Stay in neutral-observer mode as much as possible. We eventually get to where the discomfort & squirming of our mind amuses us, the impartial observer.

We already are that which we seek, but the mind doesn’t know that, nor even conceive of the possibility. It requires disengagement from the mind to experience that, to Know it. Thus, for now we just watch — from Heart. As we do so, we’re pervaded by a deep sense of peace, an absence of worry, of anger, of fear… Things get much more pleasant.

Since we are not seeking anything, I’m not offering anything that the mind wants, here. Each one, as a unique facet on the spherical crystal that is the One, has their own view, their own angle of perception; their own perspective.

Abraham-Hicks Daily Quote = 2020/02/11

What is a bad thing anyway? A bad thing is something that is different than what I want. Who gets to decide what the bad thing is? Jerry and Esther watched the mother bird lay her eggs in the nest, and then the neighbor’s cat ate the baby bird. Esther said “bad cat!” And the cat said, “good bird!”

There is no book, no tome anywhere that contains the answers, dear friends. They merely contain certain perspectives, useful or not, depending on the one viewing them. THERE IS NO ONE WAY INTO AWAKENING.

Let’s quit being so judgmental

Just because you’re not a Catholic, for instance, doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with Catholics, that they need to go away of shut up. Just because there is true & dark corruption among many in the top echelons, there, doesn’t convey that darkness to the faithful soul following that teaching.

There are beautiful, masterful souls everywhere, in every belief system.

We also judge based on our misunderstanding of time, what it is, how it works. We look to those living centuries or millennia ago, judging their actions, their beliefs, based on our current understandings. That’s simply nuts, but because of our BS (Belief Systems), we don’t yet recognize it as nuts.

Why or how is it nuts? Glad you asked. Just imagine you’re living in the year 3033, a good way into the “future.” Oh, so many things have occurred in the interim, vastly changing the way we view & understand simply everything — but, of course. Once upon a time, medicine did not believe in nor understand germs. There were no microscopes. That’s just life, right?

Now, how fair or sensible would it be for you, in 3033, to judge those here in 2021 by your 3033 views & beliefs? How could we possibly measure up to those? We do not have the great understanding gained over the ensuing centuries (via the many experiences that have not yet occurred) on which to base changes in our 2021 perspectives.

Yet, here we sit, in 2021, looking back on the founding times of our United States, judging those who lived then — who do not have the benefit of learning gained over the ensuing centuries — by today’s standards. It makes no sense to pay reparations to today’s people based on what those living long ago may have done, to change the names of buildings, to tear down “offensive” statues. Offensive to who?

It was not done to us, not experienced by us, not done by us, yet some seek to gain from it, or to pay it?? Should we condemn the doctors of earlier centuries for not washing their hands between surgeries? How could they have known?

Now, back into Heart with you — so you can observe. Did any of that make “you” angry or upset? When in observer mode, we can perceive the culprit, there. It’s the mind, the arrogant one mired in its BS (Belief Systems). Suffering, too, arises from the mind’s view. The Observer does not suffer, only observes. (No, that doesn’t make it ignorant, cold, or calloused, only empty, only neutral.)

Awakening is not seeking — it is BEING in the midst of NowHere

Awakening is not seeking answers, not seeking anything. Awakening is finding, is discovering All within our Being. It’s already & always NowHere, so we need not go “out there” in search of anything. When we encounter anything that upsets us, rather than placing blame “out there,” let us look within.

Any upset-ness speaks to us ABOUT us, highlighting something internal.

The Western world is programmed into arrogance, into believing we know oh, so many things, AND that we understand them. These things, to us, are clearly “right.” Meanwhile, we don’t realize how foolish that makes us, how sharply it limits & divides us. Merging our BS (Belief Systems) with those in the Eastern world would be most helpful, along with a good dose of humility. 😊

For a time, while we shift & adjust to that, we could view it as two sides of the same coin, as the yin/yang, seeking to balance itself. It’s never that one “side” is “right,” making the other “wrong.” Show me the one-sided coin. Those are grossly limited & limiting views, mired in duality.

Opinion Matters

Interesting, how differing, even opposite views, can both be correct, yet only seen by those sufficiently open & empty.

Yin-Yang

How to wake up? Be ever aware of how you feel, how tense or relaxed you are. Life is meant to be enjoyed, regardless of everything. Remember Byron Katie's wonderful take on it: “Everything happens for you, not to you.” This creates a massive internal shift which no mind can comprehend.

Abraham=Hicks’ daily quote for today, 2020/02/07, is just perfect:

There is not a stream of badness and a stream of goodness, or sickness or wellness. There is only a Stream of Well-being. The question that you’re wanting to ask yourself is, “In this moment, am I letting it in or not? Am I allowing it or am I not?”
