Our Search for Meaning

Man’s search for meaning, for a way to make sense of the world we perceive, is heartrending, at least to me. So many beautiful beings, full of integrity & hope, yet limiting themselves to what’s available within The Matrix — that skewed reality generated by the mind & by reliance on that.

Much as I wish I could just shout that there’s a better way — a way out of the craziness on display, everywhere — it wouldn’t help — even if I could somehow reach them, one & all. It takes a certain readiness to be done with it all, which comes for some as a real disgust, an anger at the current state of affairs.

I want to shout out to them most of all, for they’re right on the cusp of a much better way to sort it all out — by leaving it behind, shoving all that to the side while diving deep, within. For me, & many like me, it’s a catch-22 in which we’re caught. We’re quite unwilling to play the social game to get our work, our words out on the larger stage. What it takes to succeed, there, is inimical to our very words, the ideas conveyed.

Yet, once we’ve found our way sufficiently deep to have contacted, perhaps even entered the emptiness of the Inner Realm (just to give it a useful label), we’re well equipped for whatever we encounter. Our staunch reliance on Heart, on the Inner voice, ever stands us in good stead. We don’t suffer, no matter what.

Yet, there’s the rub, for once we’re touched down into the nothing, the One, we’re also well aware that we are no separate self, here experiencing life — we’re them, as well. Their suffering, their pain is also ours. Enough to make ya go hmm. As we expand out — & in — to the greater identity of/as the One, everything changes.

Nothing of the old life, the old thoughts, long remains.

Just as “you can’t fix stupid,” you can’t fix lost. You can’t actually “fix” anything — & it nags at you that you somehow know that nothing is actually wrong — nor can it be, at any time. This you know by your experience within the actual territory, which has no respect for any maps.

To me, it seems that I must abandon the whole concept that anything is broken, that anything needs to be fixed. (These are Heart journals, so please exit mind for the best experience, here.) It’s a visceral thing, this knowing that nothing is ever broken, thus invalidating any attempt at fixing whatever it is.

I hear too many minds saying, “Heck, when my car is broken, it can certainly benefit with a bit of fixing.” We’re not in 3D here, friends. The mind-addicted will take that for escapism or nonsense of whatever sort — let them. They just don’t get it, yet, but they will — when their perfect time ripens. Meanwhile, they’ve a bit more stewing to do in the Matrix daze.

Mind is not & never was the answer to any of the Big Questions, dear ones. It is ever the wrong tool for such jobs, being severely limited to the realm of the maps, only ever able to know about things — never encountering the things, in themselves. Thus arises all of the argumentation & dispute within whatever realm of mental or social endeavor. They remain stuck in the land of the relative truths, disputing them.

If that’s where you are, this isn’t the blog for you.

I’m done with that, finding it not only unnecessary, but completely counterproductive. Though we’re multidimensional, one & all of us, those who stick with mind are locked down into 3D — by their own free will choice. Admittedly, they’re hugely unaware of that — but neither are many sufficiently open to listen, to consider other possibilities, other perspectives so far divergent from their own for finding meaning in life.

I’m content with the diminutive size of my potential audience, seeing no point in seeking the wider audience of those content with Matrix living. In my own life I was stubbornly resistant to much of what I’ve now realized, unable to hear it when the time (for me) was not yet ripe. So be it — it just is what it is. No need to apply any fix.

Once we begin walking from Heart, content with what the NowHere provides, we no longer seek the reassurance of numbers or validation, the craziness brought on by fame. We realize there’s no comfort, there, for Who we truly are. It’s empty, it’s hollow, be it riches or renown. What do we seek? You may laugh, but nothing. We are content, on deeper “levels” than those to which mind has access.

What am I trying to say? Nothing — just letting the emptiness speak. It’s mind that’s on a search for meaning. Once that’s found, the search evaporates.
