Oh, Sandy — what a precious reply. It touches me. I am so very glad you have gone sufficiently beyond grief to feel rhe very real presence of your dear ones. They are not gone — they cannot “go” anywhere, in the One that is All That Is — nor can we.

At some point some of us reach the point of having so gotten out of their own way that they directly experience the One of it all — losing the sense of any separate self, entirely. UG Krishnamurti is one of these. You may enjoy this, in which the 1st section describes it quite well — almost entirely in his words: The Mystique of Enlightenment. (It’s a bit long, but very engaging, if that is your thing.)
