Not sure about this line, i.e., not sure it really says what you mean. People make lousy conscious choices all the time, as “conscious” is generally taken (assumed) to equate with the mind making the choice.

Instead, we’re positing that getting the conscious mind out of the way brings better results (if I’m reading you right).
