“Not” Isn’t Real to Source
Trained to Keep Ourselves Down
Where are we going? What are we doing? Are we doing it right? Are we making a mess?
LOL, let’s back off & take a look at that — that mental nonsense. Sure, it’s fine for the mind to explore such things, but not quite so fine when we limit ourselves to the mind. We’re so very much more, as in All That Is & then some. 😲
Okay, how can you have more than All That Is, some ask? That leads to tricky territory, for we’re tempted to say, “All That Is & All That Is Not;” but “not” isn’t recognized on higher levels. It’s rather funny, but “not” does not exist. When we say to ourselves, “I do not like that person,” we’ve just added that person to our awareness, to our vibration.
Source ignores the “not.”
Whatever it is, if you’re fighting or resisting it — so you think — you’re actually including it. So if we do “not” want that person in our awareness, better to focus on what we DO want. It will more effectively exclude that one.
In the Matrix, we’re taught to focus quite a lot on things we don’t like, don’t want, or don’t respect. This is how we’re taught to put the brakes on the self, to slow ourselves down. We’re taught to work both for & against the self/Self — do you see?

We are wiser to make better choices, placing our focus ever on our desires, on what we’d prefer, on what we’d like to create. Consciousness is busy creating, no matter what we’re doing, but humanity, overall, has been programmed to be sloppy creators. Most of us are hugely unaware of the 24/7/365 process of creation carried on in our awareness.
Everything, everyone is conscious; did you know that? We more easily grant consciousness to people & animals than we do things that are still: rocks, trees, plants, mountains, blades of grass, etc. It’s ALL consciousness, just in its own way, not necessarily in ours.
While the mind may have issues with this, Heart is another experience, entirely. Heart already Knows all that we forgot in order to take our place on the 3D stage, to don our body-mind costume & show-up for the dance, the drama. We sometimes forget that no one can hand us a one-sided coin; that every coin has 2 sides.
Many would choose the one-sided coin if it existed. They’d choose a world wherein everyone was benevolent, beautiful, & never did anything “wrong.” They don’t yet recall that they contain, in the All In All, the dark as well as the Light, & how beautifully they go together.
Just try to create the painting with zero contrast & see what you (don’t) get. 😆
We are both Spirit/soul & form, right? Are they not different, not distinct? Everything doesn’t necessarily merge from one to the other. The mind occupies itself with that which holds little interest for Heart, & vice versa. We have wider avenues to explore that way, offering a richer experience of eternity.
Everything that is is all contained, yet retains its uniqueness, is able to stand on its own. Everything is included — so what we focus on we help to create — we feed it. That being the case, it’s a good idea to drop the whole “not” scene, the resistance to whatever it is.
There is a beauty, yes, in discovering what we don’t want, what we don’t like. What is that beauty? It clearly highlights what we DO want. The gift offered by what we don’t want is to point us to what we do want, yet we haven’t been trained to see it that way.
Abraham-Hicks Daily Quote — 2018/02/02/10
“When you reach for the thought that feels better, the Universe is now responding differently to you because of that effort. And so, the things that follow you get better and better, too. So it gets easier to reach for the thought that feels better, because you are on ever-increasing, improving platforms that feel better.”

If we like, we can each begin to self-observe, begin to become aware of those times when we’re strongly focused on the “not,” that which we wish didn’t exist, or didn’t know we existed so it would just go away.
Awareness precedes our desired changes.
When we don’t know there’s a problem, the problem continues. We’re shown in so many creative ways as Source seeks to focus our attention, to illumine us. We’re blessed, even when our experiences are awkward or outright uncomfortable.
How are we blessed? When faced with what we clearly do not want, we know best in those moments what we DO want, yes? The observation phase is key since we can’t fix what we don’t see.
As we make Byron Katie’s understanding our own, that, “Life happens for you, not to you,” we have a welcoming attitude. We’re not resisting. That same thing can be said in the negative, but it’s less powerful: “Life doesn’t happen to you, it happens for you.” The focus, the emphasis is different, is a bit off, at least to Heart.
It can be as simple as recognizing that Source doesn’t recognize the negative. Whatever it is, if it’s in your awareness, you’re pouring energy into it, helping create & sustain it. Yes, that includes those things we’re trying to push away, to avoid, to ignore; until we awaken to the foolishness of our approach.
We don’t get to have one side of the coin but reject the other one.
The coin just is what it is, having 2 sides. We wouldn’t want it to be dark all the time, nor would we want unending bright light. As we awaken, we come to cherish balance, a Divine Balance, ever more, allowing both sides to serve their purpose.
Abraham-Hicks Daily Quote — 2018/04/14
“You cannot find someone, even if they deserve it, as your enemy and stay Connected with who you are at the same time, because your Source will not take sides like that. No one can stay connected to Source Energy, and push hard against someone else. There are these battles that are fought in the name of “God”, and all of these prayers that say, “God is on our side,” and we say, god is not on your side, nor is god on the side of those who fight against you. god does not take those sides.”

Let’s look at the nots, the various knots in our life through these new eyes, eyes of Heart. It’s perfectly fine to interact with things about which our mind is clueless. Heart Knows, & what it Knows transcends what the mind knows.
Whatever we think or contemplate or feel about something we don’t want or like, let’s recognize that we’re creating ever more of that undesired thing as it occupies our awareness. The good news, of course, is that we’re in charge of our awareness, our consciousness, though most of us have put the mind in charge.
As we become better observers, it won’t be long before we notice that it is always, as in always our mind resisting whatever it is. Heart already Knows better, but Heart isn’t pushy, awaiting the shift of our awareness in its direction. We must invite Heart, for it won’t force its way into anything.
Balance is key; so is free will, and observation is the open door letting us see ever so much more than the mind would conceive. We do a juggling act for quite a while, flipping between Heart & head, inner & outer, Light & dark, and so on. Let’s not resist that, either, for it’s a natural part of our flow into unlimited awareness.
What is our job? Once we center in Heart, it becomes clear that enjoyment is what we’re all about, enjoyment of our NowHere moment & whatever it offers. Resisting the difficult bits is useless, anyway, & once we come to realize that they always bring gifts, we have fun learning to open the present(s) delivered in every NowHere moment.
We also learn to be better lovers of self in the process, learning the blessings of keeping our focus ever on what we desire, compassionately monitoring what we take in.
Desire is the motor of Life.
Let’s not slip back into the mind by putting our desires out in the future, as not yet fully present, either. That doesn’t work, for it has us holding the carrot on the stick out in front of our body-mind; not so hot. When fully Heart-centric, we can enjoy every moment of focus on our current desires.
Let’s face it; when we finally achieve just what we want, we’ll already have a whole new set of desires. That’s actually great since eternity is our native realm. How very boring it would be to have it All, now. What would be the point of continuing where there was nothing to gain, nothing to grow into, nothing to imagine & to achieve?
