Maybe this search for the “right person/partner” fails so often is because it takes us outside of ourself. That makes it unreal. It focuses us on externals, which only have a relative reality. Though we don’t realize it, we’re the creator, the author of our life & everything in it, so it makes no sense to focus “out there.”

When we’re focused “in here,” instead, no questions arise — we just Know. Not that we’ll be able to explain it, for likely we won’t, yet how much does that matter next to the direct experience, the Knowing? To live in the mind is to live life at secondhand, ditching the direct experience for the discussion, the evaluation of it, forever being unsure.

Great article! Simple & basic, as you somehow always manage to be, no matter the topic you take up, always pointing us within, to the heart of it all.
