What I see in your poem is you getting it — sharing it — seeing the not-enough-ness that is enduring the activity of mind. That’s the core of simply all seeking — right there. More!

When we focus on the not-enough, on what we don’t have — we’re actually creating more of the same. What we come to discover is that, whatever we focus on, we get more of that. Now, this is really beautiful, once we flip it on its head & begin focusing, instead, on all that we appreciate. Appreciation is a powerful creative force.

So your poem shows both — what’s there, that’s lovely — along side the “give me more” activity of the busy mind. Excellent!
