LIVE vs EVIL — Beyond Duality
What perceptions will we choose?
Look at “LIVE” in a mirror & you get “EVIL.” I find that quite interesting, even a reminder of the yin/yang, the balance of Light & dark. A match lit in a dark room banishes the dark; they are not equal nor even foes. In a room too full of light, we are as blinded as we are in a dark room.
Dark is not bad, it is the absence of light.
I don’t think humanity yet realizes even an nth degree of our creative power — Creative Power at our core, our Source-in-form core. Source is the Dancer, we are the Dance, these 3D body-mind outfits being but the costume for our role in the play. So just because our body-mind doesn’t seem all that powerful doesn’t apply to us as most people think it does.
Beliefs trump the truth. Even Sophocles knew this so long ago:
”What people believe prevails over the truth.”
~ SOPHOCLES, fragment, The Sons of Aleus
Absent a certain inner readiness, we don’t see what’s before us, we see what we take it to be which rests on our beliefs. Emptiness is rather rare.
“Books are mirrors: you only see in them what you already have inside you.”
~ Carlos Ruiz Zafón, The Shadow of the Wind
There is always a greater reality
Most of our confusion arises via our identification with the form, the body-mind. When corralled within that identity, we are easily manipulated. As we awaken, we begin to come into our greater reality, the infinity/eternity of that.
We are extensions of Source — who is NOT a physical being of any sort. We are awareness or Spirit with a soul that interacts with form, so we exist in multiple dimensions simultaneously. With which one(s) will we identify, which one(s) will we explore?
Our adventures into djinn, fairies, ghosts, demons, & discarnates of whatever sort may fare better when we’re grounded in Heart, portal into our core, into the All That Is. Guidance is also much more available (& more trustworthy) from Heart, our Inner Being, (if you will. As you know, these things don’t fit well into language.)
Are space and time different aspects of the same thing?
Just as space isn’t what we take it to be, containing so much not perceptible to the body’s senses, neither is time. In the One, we occupy all of space, all of time simultaneously. None of this makes a lick of sense to the mind, but that mind is a lesser aspect of our vastness not qualified to be our guide into all of this, just a useful sort of calculator when needed.
So we have other aspects of our Being actually existing in the realms occupied by these various discarnates, other aspects of our Being better equipped to handle whatever arises. What’s in the way? To sum it up, it’s our systems of beliefs, the BS of all of that. When we bring an open emptiness to the table or to the encounter, what we experience is vastly different from the mind-centric view.
“Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth.”
~ Marcus Aurelius, Meditations
Here’s a creative new way to view an alligator:
Anything is possible!
And finally, this one, perhaps my favorite quote of all:
“To know that you do not know is the best.
To think you know when you do not is a disease.
Recognizing this disease as a disease is to be free of it.”
~ Lao Tzu
Ah, the wonderful freedom of that last line!
