Then, when you add in what we carry across lifetimes, you’ve really got an idea of why it may seem big, now — with a particular one with whom you have a long history. Yes, of course it can be tough to let go — but oh, what a relief. We’re the only ones holding ourselves back, tying ourselves down to any of this — yet it takes a certain amount of awakening to such things — a going within. As long as we keep looking “out there” for things to fulfill us, we keep the nightmare going.
