It's funny, but when I read your title it didn't work for me, one who is used to self-identifying AS awareness, rather than the body or ego/mind. Then, as I read it, I saw what you were pointing to & it's awesome.
It's when we step aside from who we long thought we were that we discover the emptiness, without a clue of what lays beyond it. It takes some time there watching the ego/mind thing die off, eventually seeing it for the illusory nothing it is.
We don't enter straight into the One, where no two-ness abides. First, is the time being the Observer, watching the lesser self flipping out as it's discarded, oh my. Only later, are we ready to be the One that we've always been, all along. LOL, right?
It's all so very funny, with most of the laughter being at the expense of the self; Self laughing lovingly, delightedly, at the self, at how seriously it was once taken.
Anyway, this piece of your is the first one I read. New follower. :)
