Indeed, and LOL. The gift of free will almost guarantees that. Yet, please consider - what many call bad or negative karma, the difficult things they see or experience - this can be viewed through eyes of Love.

What would it look like, then? Source, or the One, always begins with the feather-light touch. If that gets our attention, if we respond to it, then all is well. Source helped us correct something or achieve a greater union with the Whole.

What if that doesn't work? Then comes the smack to the back of the hand. Yet, for many, they're so mind-centric, so captured & controlled by their Belief Systems (note the BS of that ;-) that they don't perceive the slap as intelligent, as Love in action.

So then it gets more & more intense - not out of judgment or punishment or any such nonsense (for these have no place in Love), but as Love seeking to get our attention to something - to reach out with help.

When the worst things happen, it's more like Source/The One just stepped back, out of the way of actions generated by our own behaviors coming back home to roost. "What goes around comes around" is really quite wise - even when sometimes it takes a number of incarnations to "get it" in both senses: to have the experience & to perceive the worth, the usefulness of it.

No - we don't thank the murderer for killing us, the bully for beating us up - nor do we encourage him in such behavior, as some New-Age nonsense might encourage. We thank the One, we thank Source. It leads to having a much different relationship with it All.
