I enjoyed this piece, Dr Bradberry, along with the new brain info it provided. Neat stuff! The whole story held together well, beautifully supported by the videos.

While I find nothing to disagree with, here, I do see & sense something more, something that goes beyond our physicality. We are so much more than just body & brain or mind — vastly more. Yet, it’s hard with today’s science & academia setting spirit, soul, consciousness itself to the side while following their mechanistic bent.

I’ll be glad when we realize the detour we took when rejecting alchemy & philosophy, once legitimate branches of scientific inquiry now held in much lower regard. What if, instead of the (almost empty) atom is not the foundation of it all, but consciousness is? We all have deeper realms within, well below the surface of the mind & body, vast realms to explore.

Numerous scientists are already leaving the reservation of the old, limited perspective, I’m glad to know. Your particular field, here — the 6th sense — is fertile ground for such exploration. So I’m looking forward to science breaking out of the old mechanistic structures & going adventuring along such worthy avenues as this.
