I am crying with you, my Brother (or sister). We are connected. All are, but you & your two commenters, here, especially so. Our forms are so beautiful (for those with eyes to see), but none can question the beauty of the Redbud tree & its Spring display — an OMG thing.

Nature is funny that way, though. It puts on such a grand display, but for a short time; sometimes the grander, the shorter duration. That Tree lives on in your Heart, & now in ours, too — I am embracing it Now.

I love the enlightenment you had, the realization of never having cried for a person’s death of the form, yet sobbing like a child over the tree, the dog. I’m with you. Vulnerability is not so much required for awakening, but we don’t awaken without it, vulnerability being the gift of the simple Truth in which we live, move, & have our being.

We don’t generally recognize that early on, & not everyone does even in our later years, but it’s there. We just have to be ready, & that’s hugely up to us & our use of free will.

You are that tree, now. You’ve sung her praises to the whole world, & she is amazed at the attention she’s receiving, deLightFully amazed. She walks with you, always. Consider too — her roots still abide in Mother Earth. Our trees, living & “dead” (for they don’t die anymore than we do) entertwine their roots all around the globe (or flat plane, or whatever, since such things don’t truly matter).

Will write a journal about trees in honor of both that heavenly tree & you. Hugs.

~♥~
