Hmm — yes, this can help — but not if we use it to run away from whatever’s presenting in our Now moment. Sometimes things just need to be felt, to be allowed. Though it seems awkward, not feeling so good, I’ve also found that my happiness quotient often skyrockets after I’ve loved myself enough to just listen — to me. Whatever the pain was, after being with it I find often that it has just vanished — no longer an issue at all.
