Good post, Alex. I’m not going to address it directly, but rather diagonally, just for fun. This whole conversations is based on identifying self with the body or the body-mind — which many accept, of course. Yet, there are masses of us who work from a foundation that is entirely “other” — that the body-mind is but a temporary vehicle — behicle, you could say — for who we truly are to have this 3D experience.

It doesn’t truly matter what word we choose to use for that — be it soul, spirit, being… all are far more ephemeral than anything of 3D. No need to go off into this — just presenting it for the intriguing factor that it is, in the overall discussion. Then, too, it makes the basic premise moot, since whatever that is — let’s say our being — has eternity built right in 😉
