Good article — I appreciate it. The only thing, here, that interests me is the fasting part. Will share my strange reality around this.

For about the last decade I’ve only been eating one small meal in the evening, with now & then a snack of nuts, too. For the huge bulk of that time my weight did not change — 5'7" at about 140 lbs. I had adequate energy, so no depletion, there, & I took good vitamins & herbs — mostly organic.

In this last year that has changed, as suddenly — with no dietary changes, the weight began to fall off. I’m now down to my teenage weight — about 120 lbs. I’m 64 years old.

I did do one thing that may have sparked this — working with food-grade H2O2, taken internally. I followed a procedure which began at 3drops, 3x daily away from food, moving up 1 drop per day until I reached 25, taken in 8 oz of distilled water.

The weight began to fall off during this time, but I don’t know that this was the cause. As a footnote, if I had it to do over, I probably would have stopped at 10 or 15 drops — the stuff tastes frankly terrible at greater concentrations.

Anyway, I’m living for more than a decade on one small daily meal. Yes, I know it’s strange, & I’m not recommending it to others by any means — just sharing with you, as it seems relevant.

Thanks, again, for your article — lots of good info, here. I agree with those suggesting research among the Muslim community is also extremely relevant, for obvious reasons 😉
