Getting Pushed Around
Have you noticed that we all have different values & opinions? While it seems so obvious that you’d think we’d be good at allowing for that…well, it seems we’re not. It seems we can’t go anywhere without witnessing some badgering going on, someone trying to force their views or their ways down someone else’s throat. Yuck!
So is it just that humanity is still childish, or what?
There’s a real arrogance behind any sort of badgering or forcing. It’s one thing if we enlist or get a military commission where we sign on for that sort of thing. Outside of that military arena, such badgering is inappropriate.
Sure, the one doing it often has the best of intentions, believing that their truth, their way is the right way & you’re suffering because you don’t know that. The proof is in the pudding, so how we live our life is our best testament to our internal state.
How others handle themselves is largely — though not entirely — none of our business, depending how aggressive they are.
What’s easy to spot for the awakening ones is how all of that pushing comes from being mind-centric. It’s always the mind that thinks it knows better than someone else. Perhaps it does, but there’s also free will involved so we’d do well to respect that.
It has always been the case that people disagreed. Big deal, right? What a boring world it would be where we always agreed with everyone! We might as well be robots, oh my. Our disagreements often lead to growth & expansion into broader perspectives or a more focused correctness. That’s for the flexible ones among us, though, not those locked into the ego, i.e., arrogant mind.
Those who stick stubbornly with the mind trek don’t awaken so quickly as those in Heart. We can’t force them to make that vital shift no matter what we say or do. Their life is their business; we’re not in charge, there.
Besides, as you’ve likely already discovered, they can’t really hear you.
Being in the mind, they’re limited to words, & words cannot contain the things of Spirit or Source that we’d love to share. When we’re picking up things in writings like these, we’re in Heart where we all share that deep connection that goes beyond words — where things often just click.
It’s so comforting to know that our personal awakening directly benefits us all. So even when we’re not heard & understood, not mentally comprehended, others “get it” in other ways, ways of which they may not even be aware. Often, we can let it rest at that.
Let’s also maintain the divine Balance, though, speaking up as Heart inspires. The whole “silent majority” thing doesn’t work in today’s age. We’re likely entering into a massive awakening unlike anything in our current history books — something to huge that we can’t even imagine that, yet.
So let’s not buck the changes just because they’re changes, but be loyal to Heart, to letting That lead the way into those greener pastures up ahead. I’m glad to be on the trek with you. Let’s be stubborn to remember IT’S ALL GOOD.
