Get Out of Your Own Way
We have all that we require at all times, yet mind cannot see this — ever searching for something more, something else. Contentment is so little practiced these days that it’s seen as odd when encountered in another. That one may be seen as somehow lacking, as incomplete — as not really living. LOL.
Yet there is nothing we lack. Just as the bodies we wear come & go, circumstances are kind & unkind in their season — well beyond human ability to control. Most minds are ever plotting to eradicate the undesired, to create all things pleasant in life—a sad endeavor, bringing spotty results, at best.
Why? Why do we not see the great bounty that surrounds us? So far, my answer is our preoccupation with & in mind. It is mind who is discontent, not the true Being we all are. Who can see this in him- or herself? Until we learn to be mind’s observer, I don’t know how else it is done.
A NEW LANDSCAPE
As we slowly, determinedly distance ourselves from being fully occupied in mind’s workings, in comes a breath of fresh air — a relaxation of soul. We see both our strengths & our failings, but from a perch where contentment abides. It just doesn’t matter. No mind can know this, yet mind’s observer can.
Why don’t more people realize the great benefits of this practice of self-observation? Too busy with life’s perennial cares — too focused outside of the self, as yet unacquainted with Self, or even the existence of That, is my guess. We know so very much when we come into this life, which our upbringing & education soon push aside. As we learn to not trust the self, the inner knowings come less & less frequently — until they go mostly silent.
A BLESSED TIME
We’re actually living in a very blessed time — one into which we chose to incarnate. We knew beforehand what would arise — what is arising, now. We are blessed to be lifted on the wings of a rising frequency, an ever quicker vibration.[1] It can be irritating to those closeted within mind, seeming to push them, somehow, in ways they don’t quite understand.
Just as the higher frequency, the new Light on the scene, makes it ever more difficult for the dark cabal forces to pull off their nasty schemes, exposing more & more of their plots & plans, so it is with each of us, too. The Light flushes out whatever darkness is there — how could it be otherwise?
Nor is there one of us walking the earth — flat or spherical — with no darkness inside. We have night & day, light & dark, good & seeming evil on the world scene. How could this be, absent the same conditions within us? We are creating — we are the manifestors of this world & all that’s in it, as Source-in-form. Yet no one in mind can reconcile this with their experience of life. It’s too frightening, by far, (for mind) to even consider.
SO WHAT?
Well, so what? We like to think we know so much, that we’re so wise — LOL. We’re also a wee bit insane, as anyone who looks around would perhaps agree. Every coin has 2 sides — so do we. Many more “sides,” actually, but the point is well taken — you don’t get the good absent the “bad.” Who would want night absent the day, light absent the dark time of rest & repose?
Where am I going with this? I have no clue — it writes itself, these days. There is that within humanity that is simply divine, resident within each living soul. Yet there’s a darkness that walks the earth, too, that is unspeakable in its perversion of Light. Sometimes I wonder if those who don’t seem to want to awaken walk in fear of discovering the depths of this dark perversion. I don’t know. It comes with awakening. We don’t just awaken to Light.
Even those who consider themselves among the awakened ones are fooling themselves. The “ed” suffix on “awakened” posits a limit — some sort of end, a final point that’s been reached. In my experience there is no such thing as having arrived — there’s always somewhere beyond, another step on the endless road of infinity/eternity.
STAGES OF AWAKENING
Many are coming to realize that we never die — we just leave the current body behind & move on. That’s a pretty good hint, wouldn’t you say? So we could say that there are stages of awakening, yes? The only one who has ever “arrived” would have to be Source — who never left.
Source just is, containing all beginnings, all endings, at a minimum — but it’s best not to try to define or understand Source. We just make fools of ourselves in the process.
Who among us truly knows how to be still? I don’t claim this ability, except in a relative way. 3D is all about relativity, yes? How could it be otherwise? We have shades of colors, of sounds, of good & “evil” — never the whole enchilada — can’t be done. So then how can I say that we have it all?
ALL WE REQUIRE
We have “all we require” at any point in time. Yet be aware that none of this is accessible to anyone’s mind. Those of us who’ve learned to step back from mind begin to access this awareness, this wholeness — which is uncovered as we center quietly within. Don’t know how else to say this, to point to it — which is all words can ever accomplish.
SO MUCH TO LOSE
We have so much to lose — & we really need to lose it if we want to awaken to any significant extent. We’re so cluttered with do’s & don’t’s, we’re so busy just trying to survive in a society that seems to have gone quite mad. There’s pressure from every side — or so it seems — to mind, of course — but not to us, to Who we truly are.
If we’d just settle down a bit & find our stillness, this stuff simply arises. We don’t have to go in search of it — we never lost it. It is what we are, as Source-in-form. It is seeking us, which is ridiculous, even hilarious, once seen. Yet in the absence of this stillness it can never be found — even though it has ever been seeking us.
Can anyone laugh with me?
You are that which you seek. No riches, no pleasures, no partner, no nothing can satisfy this urge to wholeness. Just look at the rich — do you see or sense contentment in them? All they’re after is more, ever more than they now have. For them (& for mind) there is literally never “enough.” No such thing.
JUST A RIDE
Bill Hicks had it right — it’s just a ride. Two people can have very similar upbringing & circumstances, right down to what’s in their bank accounts, yet have hugely different experiences of life. Satisfaction in life has nothing to do with externals — though they do bring fleeting pleasure. It’s all about what we are, within — & if we’re moving towards that — or away from it.
That new car or tractor won’t bring you any more happiness than you have right now — except for a short while — then it fades. The very wealthy are the test of this — just look at them. Sense them, feel their energy — is that what you want for yourself — to be like that? Your mind may, but not your soul, who knows better.
It’s time to listen to the soul — for those who want to, of course. Free will is simply awesome, though hugely misunderstood. It doesn’t mean you can choose to be rich & necessarily achieve that — though you may. It is do-able. But do you really want to give over your whole life to achieve it? It’s a choice — some do — & that’s fine. Just not for me.
OUR CHAOS
Sure, you could say things are a mess right now. Chaos seems to reign, growing stronger by the day. This is what we have created, friends — or allowed. Maybe it’s time to face that — to look within, to begin taking responsibility for whatever parts we’ve played along the way. No one is blameless — no one is perfect, not in a human way.
Yet we have access to ultimate perfection, right where we are — yes, within. Or you could say, “within & above,” but it amounts to the same thing. It’s literally everywhere — just not seen. No one is holding you back, either — just you. Same for me, of course. I don’t claim anything special.
For those who set their intention to discover whatever it is, the truth is available, today more than ever. Sure, it’s laced with a heaping dose of nonsense, misinformation, & disinformation to boot — but that won’t stop the one determined to discover it. The truth has always been present & available, only humanity has somehow been blinded.
MIND TAKEN OVER
What’s been taken over on this planet is the mind of humanity. Over a very g-r-e-a-t stretch of time our thinking processes have been basically co-opted. Both secular & religious education are in a sad state — not everywhere, but especially in the USA. Let’s not even discuss corporate America, or God forbid, the government. It’s a mess.
But so what? Does that stop you from discovering whatever it is? Once we find that the answers we seek are actually internal, we’re free to roam, free to discover, free to grow & expand. The current rising frequencies[1] are a great boost to all who want to discover Who & what they truly are — to meet themselves as Source-in-form. None of that external chaos has any bearing on the spiritual trek, if I may call it that.
WORTHLESS WORDS
Words are pretty well worthless, friends. Yeah, then why do I bother writing so many of them? Because it’s fun! It’s a great joy to discover what comes out on the page. I do very little editing of the substance, for therein is the flow, the joy — just the details of presentation.
Eckhart Tolle introduced me to the idea of thoughts as clouds floating by — that words are just pointers, unable to contain that to which they point. Joe’s aha-moment can’t help Sally. Only Sally can help Sally, & it’s largely done by Sally getting out of the way — of herSelf.
What will you find, within? No one can tell you. We can share our ideas, our experiences, but only via words — which don’t bring enlightenment. Better, by far, to go within, to settle down into what’s there. It’s the Allness, the Everything — yet it does an excellent job of hiding as long as we stubbornly cling to mind — to identifying with/as that.
FLOWERS JUST BLOOM — THEY CAN’T HELP IT
We’re as a flower, friends. Given the right conditions, it can’t help but blossom. So nice to know that we’re the one in charge of providing those conditions. Harald Kautz-Vella did this at one point by locking himself away in a room for a month — in total solitude — which is pretty extreme. Yet it shows what determination can do.
As we get rid of all expectations — no small task — we provide one excellent condition. Turning away from technology addiction is another aid to the process. The flower doesn’t bloom the day after the seed is planted — it’s a process. You can’t figure this out. Why not? Because You already know it, deep within. It’s really & truly just a matter of getting out of your own way.

[1] Rising frequency: Note the shifting Schumann Resonance, for instance. Note also, earth’s magnetic shields weakening to such an extent that solar flares & CMEs (Coronal Mass Ejections) penetrate more deeply. Many more examples exist of our ongoing rise in vibration.
