Fasting produces tremendous benefits, whether intermittent or longer-term. Tried to find a vid I’d watched, where ppl went to an overseas clinic for supervised long-term fasting — tailored to each one. Some fasted for weeks, some for months. I’ve eaten one small, child’s portion meal daily for many years; not because I’m trying to accomplish anything, just because it feels right & natural. The quality of what’s eaten becomes primary when one has such a small appetite, so it’s mostly organic.
Earlier on, I had many ailments: osteoporosis, fibromyalgia, sever fatty liver, hypothyroidism, among others. My most recent annual physical exam indicated I had none of that, anymore. Hard to explain, so I don’t try, lol, but I expect my diet had a strong effect, in addition to the various health supplements I take.
