Do you realize that neurotransmitters, those little brain chemicals, are also generated in the heart & in the gut? I suspect they’re also in the spine via the cerebro-spinal fluid. The brain is not the whole deal, intimately intertwined with the nervous system as it is.

And what if the body mechanisms, here, are not who we are, anymore than the brain would be? What if we’re actually Spirit temporarily inhabiting flesh? What if the brain system is but a calculator in the hands of Spirit/soul — call it what you will?

Tech is definitely a slippery slope. It wouldn’t be the first time we created a nightmare while pursuing a dream. We’d be totally subject to those maintaining the server(s), assuming that the flesh-tech marriage had actually uploaded any measure of actual awareness.
