Benjamin, thanks for this honest sharing of a veteran’s perspective. I’m from a military family — even my mom served, back during WWII, in the 2nd flight of Navy WAVES. My daughter’s Army Reserve unit mobilized to Iraq, & she’s having plenty of personal challenges to reintegrate, too. Yet, I think most Americans know at least a few veterans, so this is helpful to us all.
