Abandoning Two-ness, Pt. 2 of 2
Got a new first, going here. I have a journal uploaded in draft mode — but it’s not completing itself, yet. Seems there’s something else that wants to come through, so here we go. We’ll find out, together.
That journal is called Abandoning Two-ness — yet as it flowed, the title didn’t seem to fulfill itself. The piece went off in other directions. The no-two-ness thing was subsumed into the whole, just not that directly addressed. Perhaps that will happen, here.
MIND — DANCER ON THE SURFACE OF LIFE
This is so strange, really, as no one in mind has a hope of dialing this in. Still, I write for me, so that’s not my concern. When in Heart, we’re no longer dancing on the surface of life. That’s all mind can do, but we don’t recognize it until we at least become the Observer, able to step back & watch the Thinker at work.
Isn’t it funny, too, that the topic is no two-ness, yet here I seem to be pointing out a two-ness, within, as a potential solution — a good space to occupy? I find it funny, anyway. These things write themselves, mind not being allowed to edit.
WHO WRITES? & WHO READS?
So let’s start there — how is it that “I” am not the one doing this writing? What’s with that? Hmm. Source will have to do the “explaining,” as “I” have no idea how this works — I just know that it does.
By refusing to entertain thoughts, the words are enabled to flow from a much deeper “space.” Thought just gets in the way, so sure that it knows (or can find out) what’s going on. Yet thought cannot enter Heart — a very quiet space.
There’s a stillness which thought can’t attain. Even when mind thinks it’s being still, it is not. There are beliefs at work. The subconscious & unconscious are ever in the background — which the conscious mind seldom takes into account. Thought is movement, thought is energy, thought is dynamic, creative — & there’s nothing wrong with that, either. It’s just what it is.
The trick or the secret, perhaps, is that thought is NOT all there is, not all that’s available to us.
Nor can thought/mind be prepared for what this “other” “thing” is — for what we encounter on diving deep, delving within — into what seems, to thought, a mere emptiness — a nothing, if you will. It’s the “nowhere” which often pops-up in the journals. Well, what is that? How can one possibly describe a nothing — something that isn’t?
Go within — listen from there, for mind will never, ever “get” this — It must be experienced.
THE NOTHING WITHIN YOU
This nothingness exists, somehow, within all of us. No one is bereft of it, no one excluded. As we fall into it, our whole world is excluded — is left at the doorstep, unable to cross this threshold, due to its “something-ness.” Do you see? Do you begin to sense this, there within?
Just as, on the spiritual journey, all of the old garbage must be surrendered — this is like that. No one gets in with any baggage at all. Eventually, this is seen as a simple matter of letting go, of just allowing it all to release — but not so much, at first.
To mind, this looks like an uncrossable hurdle — an impossibility — yet, it is not. This is rather the touching down — perhaps for the first time — into our deeper Being. That it seems empty to mind is no big deal, especially once we’ve withdrawn trust from mind & its workings — misplaced trust.
LOSING THE SEEKER
I hope you begin to see how it is that no mind can ever go here. Mind & Heart are not opposites, but one doesn’t enter the realm of the other. Can’t explain it, as I don’t understand it — nor feel the need to do so. All such understanding/innerstanding arises in perfect divine timing — when we’re ready.
From mind’s perspective, we must go & seek things to claim them. It’s not like that, from within, where we realize how all is brought to us — all is provided, with that perfect timing.
What is discovered on entering this emptiness? Well, Peace, first of all. If we could have brought elements of mind in with us, that wouldn’t be the case, it being so very strange to mind. Even science cannot prove a negative. Certain things, believe it or not, are not possible. Certain things do not blend.
WORDS NOT NEEDED
Ah, words are such poor buggers, are they not? Yet, we don’t really need them, friends. You are reading this, there within. You already know all of this. This Real You, that is — not the mind. Even when we can’t put words to what we sense, we still sense — & that is key, here. No other way in.
Silence is also present, here, aspect of the emptiness. An internal quiet that few have yet found, ever-present though it is — just awaiting our shift in focus. Though I can’t explain it, yet it speaks through this writing. It will, for you, too. Nor is it a channeling. We have that capacity, as well, but this is not that. This is YOU that you’re connecting, merging with — not anything “other.”
Within you, within us all, is the greatest Mystery that ever was. “Mystery,” simply in being unavailable to any thought, any mind.
Yet, it’s so much more. It’s the Allness, friends. Yeah, who’d a thunk it, that the route to the Allness would be through the nothing, the nowhere — the emptiness? Best to leave mind to the side, completely ignoring it, to make this trek.
NO TWO, NO OTHER
This is the realm where you discover that any two, any “other,” is but an illusion — has no basis in Reality. That’s the Matrix at work. This is the Matrix exit door, right within.
It’s all quite strange, yes — but if you’ll notice, only to mind. There’s that within us which simply knows all of this. You’ve been here, before; if not in this life, still you’ve been here.
People speak about “finding themselves.” From here, we begin to realize that we know not whereof we speak. Those are most often just words — finding yourself. What self are we seeking, exactly? Again, we don’t know what we don’t know. Mind speaks in ignorance — ever in ignorance of such things. It cannot know. It is not qualified to speak of them.
Thus, we tread cautiously, even reverently, here. As soon as we let ourselves be drawn into a thought, we pop out —yet not so far that we can’t return, if we but release the thought — redirecting our focus back inward. This is sacred space, if such a thing ever existed — hallowed “ground.” Hallowed by Source, the Presence of That.
This is That which we are — which we forgot, entertained & engulfed within mind as we’ve been trained & programmed to be. This is not “other” in any way.
This is as intimate as it gets.
This is where we discover that there is no other — nor ever was — how that’s but an illusion — a useful one for our 3D journey, but illusion, nonetheless. Nothing is “wrong” here — nothing is “right.” That’s seen as the dance of duality, playing out on the world stage — & in our own life.
It is not “wrong” to be caught-up in that — nor is it “right.” It just is. Do you see? All simply IS. It’s enough.
Yes, we come away from this inner journey with a new awareness, a new perspective on so many things. We see clearly that certain things, certain ways of being in our life have to go. That’s fine — just so we don’t push it, trying to make ourselves more perfect, somehow. That’s not do-able. Why? Look within, dear one — you already know.
You’re perfect, already — always have been, & yes, always will be — no matter what. Be with that. Allow it to penetrate. Feel into it. As Source-in-form, how could we be otherwise?
It’s the Perfection of Source, not our own. The we, the “I” we think we are — that’s the illusion — the one in which we, as mind, so deeply believed, before this experience.
SPIRITUAL EGO LURKS
Time to begin to release that, to just let it go. Yes, of course, the spiritual ego is a danger, here. Some get over-excited, taking onto the personality, the persona, the Greatness of Source — of what they experienced. That’s okay, too — everything is. It’s a detour, yes, but so what? If someone goes that way, then there’s benefit in it, both for them, & for those they encounter.
It will all work itself out.
That’s what the present moment, the journey, is all about. It’s a dance, a play, a sort of game — but not quite. Due to its sacredness, it’s something else — something “other” that no mind will ever know.
Everything — all of it — everyone — is actually sacred, friends. Life, itself is sacred. Yet, only from within, from the space of this emptiness, is that known — directly experienced.
Love yourself. And yes, love yourSelf. Once we tap in, here, we don’t tend to confound the seeming two of that, so much. That’s just something else we witness, as it falls away.
With the Namaskar, the Namaste, the sacred in you greets the sacred in the seeming other. Then, finally — These eyes, through which I hoped to see God/Source, are the eyes through which God/Source sees me.

Abraham-Hicks Daily Quote — 9/10/2017
“We would like you to release the word “achieve” or “earn” from your vocabulary and from your understanding, altogether; and we would like you to replace those words with the word “allow”. You’re wanting to allow your Well-being, not achieve it. It’s not something that you need to earn. All you have to do is decide what it is you would like to experience, and then allow it in order to achieve it. It isn’t something you have to struggle for or try for. You are all worthy beings. You are deserving of this Well-being.”
